Wilton Manors has a new nightlife spot bringing a fresh kind of energy to Wilton Drive.
Next Bar and Lounge is now open, offering an upscale but intimate lounge experience built around cocktails, small bites, and live entertainment. Instead of a large, high-volume bar setting, the focus here is on atmosphere, connection, and a space where you actually feel close to what is happening around you.
The layout is intentionally compact, which makes live entertainment feel personal and immersive. Guests are not tucked away watching from a distance. They are part of the room. One of the standout features is the live singing, bringing real energy to the space and turning an ordinary night out into something more memorable.
The menu keeps things simple in the best way. A small selection of rotating tapas-style bites gives you just enough to snack on while you focus on cocktails, conversation, and the performance happening in front of you. The drink list is creative and presentation-driven, with cocktails designed to feel like part of the show rather than just something ordered at the bar.
Part of what makes the space work is the team behind it. The staff brings a polished but welcoming presence that fits the room perfectly, adding to the overall energy without feeling forced or overproduced. It is a space where service and personality matter just as much as what is being served.
Behind the concept are co-owners Jerry Volmer, Deiler Beltran, and Javier Valdes. Beltran and Valdes are longtime Wilton Manors hospitality professionals who built their careers locally behind the bar. Volmer brings decades of hospitality experience across multiple markets, helping shape the vision and direction of the lounge.
Together, they have created a space that feels more like an experience than a bar, adding something more intimate and entertainment-driven to the Wilton Drive nightlife scene.
